Top Beachbody Coaches

When it comes to Top Beachbody Coaches, my team, Team Next Level, has absolutely set the precedent, winning Top Coach 2010, Top Coach 2011, and Top Coach 2012. I, Josh Spencer, won the award in 2010 and a coach that I brought into the Beachbody Business, Wayne Wyatt, won the award in 2011 and 2012. Why do we have such a successful Beachbody Team? Because we are in the business for the right reason, and that’s to help others.

My Beachbody Story

When I decided to become a Beachbody Coach back in 2008, I didn’t have any intention on building a business. In fact, I joined strictly because I wanted to do something that I was passionate about that could help a lot of people. For years I had been looking for something that would leave me with a sense of fulfillment like I experienced when was a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program as a “Big” back in high school, and I never could find it again until I became a Beachbody Coach. After going through P90X and getting unbelievable results, I guess I sort of developed a passion for health and fitness, and started talking to everyone I knew about the program, and it felt amazing knowing that I was able to help them change their life just like I had changed mine.

When I started coaching, I found myself getting completely absorbed into answering emails and messages and reaching out to friends, family, and others on Facebook and other social media sites. It was a blast to me, and I would be up till 1 or 2 AM talking to people, not because I wanted to build the business, but rather because I just loved the fact that I was having a positive impact on others’ lives. Because I had the right intentions, though, interestingly enough I started seeing my business begin to increase little by little. Many people started making me their coach so that they could have my support while they go through the program, and many of those people started becoming Beachbody Coaches under me because they got the results, developed and passion for Beachbody and helping others with health and fitness, and wanted to do something to pay it forward.

About a year later, in January of 2010, my Beachbody Business had grown so much that I decided to become a full time Beachbody Coach. That was the point where my business took off, and I dedicated myself 100% towards building a team of Top Beachbody Coaches. By the end of the year I had won Top Beachbody Coach 2010 and had other coaches on Team Next Level begin to experience tremendous success as well. Wayne Wyatt emerged as a leader on my team and ended up winning the Top Coach 2011 award.

What Team Next Level is About

As I mentioned earlier, we are a team that truly cares about helping other people, and that’s why I feel that we have many of the Top Beachbody Coaches in the country. We are not salespeople and are not looking to “sell” anything, but rather recommend products that we have personally used, have worked for us, and support each individual that goes through whatever Beachbody program they choose to go through. We are a team of integrity and ethics, and have a great support and training system in place for anyone who joins Team Next Level as a Beachbody Coach as well. Last, I’ve got to take some time and just talk about how much I appreciate and respect every single coach on my team. There is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t be where I am today and wouldn’t have won Top Beachbody Coach without them! It’s been an incredible journey over the past 5 years, one I wouldn’t trade for anything. This is not even close to an individual effort, and in fact, the entire team would not be where it is today if we didn’t support one another, care about one another, and be willing to share ideas. We help each other grow, help each other progress, and that’s something that you don’t find very often. This is a complete TEAM EFFORT! So if you’re a Team Next Level coach, THANK YOU! Your desire to change lives through fitness, desire to help your coaches create freedom, your integrity, your ethics, is truly inspiring to me and something I greatly respect. P90X2 Review

p90x2 reviewAh yes, P90X2. Where do I start? I do have to say first, though, that I absolutely LOVE THIS PROGRAM! I’ve been addicted to Beachbody programs ever since starting P90X back in 2008, and the new P90X2 program has quickly emerged as one of my favorites. Let me share my P90X2 review with you.

Review of P90X2

When I first started P90X, I really thought that it was a TOUGH workout, and it was, but as I got into better and better shape, the workouts became easier, and it got to the point during my 2nd round of P90X where I needed something more. I turned to a P90X Insanity hybrid workout since there was nothing else out at the time to really challenge me, but I kept getting excited because I heard rumors that a new P90X was coming out. I had no idea when that would be, but I kept patiently waiting. About a year later I finally got wind that P90X2 would be released in December of 2011. Not too long after that Beachbody held a tryout at the Dallas Leadership Event to be in the videos, and I was one of the small few selected! In January of the following year I flew out to Hollywood to be in the P90X2 Shoulders & Arms workout.

The actual P90X2 workout program was released later that year, and I was one of the first to order because I wanted to start it right away. What excited me the most about the program was how advanced the workouts were, and how it was more sports focused than the original. Being a former college baseball player and conditioning coach, I’m always looking for ways to improve my own and others’ athletic performance. P90X2 involves a LOT of core and balance training, but also works on explosiveness with jump training (plyometrics) and involves strength training as well using body weight and free weights. Many of the body weight exercises involve the use of a balance ball or medicine ball, really forcing you to engage your core muscles. For example, in the P90X2 Chest, Back, and Balance workout, you do an exercise where your feet are on a balance ball and you are doing diamond push-ups on a medicine ball. When I first did this exercise, I could barely stay balanced long enough to complete one rep, but after going through the 90 days, I was able to bust out between 12 and 15. The other body weight exercises are the pull-ups, and they are way more advanced and unique than the exercises done in the first PX90. For example, there is one exercise where you hold yourself in an “X” position and do the pull-ups, not allowing you to cheat by kipping. What’s great about all these is that they allow you to work on muscles that you have never worked before.

Hopefully you are enjoying reading my P90X2 review so far, and I do want to talk about some of the cardio workouts, especially Plyocide and X2 Core. Plyocide is crazy, period. Throughout much of the workout you are doing jump training exercises, like squat jumps, using a medicine ball, so not only are you getting in a great cardio workout, you are working your core and legs as well. The entire workout consists of 5 series of 4 exercises each with limited rest time in between. Next, let me talk about X2 core. This is such a unique workout because I’ve never done one like it before. Yes, you’re working your entire core in this workout, but you’re constantly moving and pushing yourself, causing it to sort of become a cardio workout as well. One of my favorite moves from the entire workout is where you are standing on one leg, have the other pinned to your ankle, have a medicine ball in your hands, and jump down, do a push-up, and then jump back up, all while only having one leg touch the ground the entire time. Another one is the Dreya rolls with a medicine ball, making it MUCH TOUGHER than the Dreya rolls we all have grown to love in P90X!

Hopefully my P90X2 review has been helpful, and when it all comes down to it, P90X2 is an AMAZING workout that has a balance of cardio and resistance training and an excellent diet plan. My P90X Story

Back in the beginning of 2008 I began my career as a Financial Adviser. I had graduated a few months before, and finally found a career in the field I was looking into. However, starting off as a young Financial Adviser is TOUGH, and the long hours took its toll on me emotionally and physically. I had gained about 20 lbs or so, and my self confidence was at an all time low. It got to the point where I knew I needed to change, so I began searching for something that would get me back into shape. One night while eating a bowl of ice cream (ironically enough), I came across the P90X infomercial, and I don’t know what it was, maybe that the program advertised itself as HARD, but I knew it was for me. That night I went online and bought P90X, not knowing that it would spark something that would change my life forever!

I remember waiting impatiently for the program to arrive, and once that deliver guy dropped the door off at the box, I tore it open and started reading the P90X Nutrition Guide. I knew that I had to change my diet if I was going to get results, so I wanted to make sure I understood the Nutrition Guide thoroughly and took my time going through it. Not too long after that I popped the first DVD, Chest & Back, in the DVD player and did my P90X workout. Ugh. That. Was. Tough. I thought I was going to puke 1/3 of the way through it, and could barely do 1 push-up or pull-up at the halfway point, but I still kept pushing through. Once the workout was over, I sprawled out on the floor thinking I was done, and then hear the music for Ab Ripper X come on. Seriously? Somehow I was able to find enough energy to complete the workout, but it was ridiculously hard. Day 1 down, 89 to go!

For the next few months I found myself getting into better and better shape. I had lost 10 lbs during my first week, another 5 during my second, and the weight just continued to fly off until I got to the 25 lbs loss mark by the end of the program. I had committed myself 100% to both the workouts and diet, not skipping a workout, eating a cheat meal, or drinking alcohol, and it paid off ten fold! My P90X results were INSANE! I was the leanest I have ever been in my life, but yet still very strong from the P90X resistance workouts. Was it hard staying committed? Heck yeah it was hard, but I knew that’s what I needed to do if I really wanted to change things. I never wanted to feel the way I did before I started P90X again, and there was nothing going to stop me from continuing to move forward.

Challenge Groups

beachbody challenge groups I have been a Beachbody Coach since 2008, and never in my entire coaching career have I seen more people stay committed and get results better than I have from the people taking part in my Beachbody Challenge Groups! Why? SUPPORT! When people join my Challenge Groups on Facebook, not only do they have the support from me, but also from the 15-20 other people in the group as well. They help each other stay motivated, encouraged, and committed, allowing them to stay in it long enough to experience results, and once that happens, they just keep going because they want to CONTINUE seeing results!

becoming a beachbody coachBecoming a Beachbody Coach back in July of 2008 was one of the best decisions of my entire life, and no, it’s not because of the money, but rather because of the amount of lives that I’ve been able to change along the way. What’s interesting about this business, though, is that if you’re focused on the right things, and that’s helping people, you have a HUGE opportunity to build a MASSIVE business! Let me share my story and explain more about being a Beachbody Coach.

I have to go back to high school and my involvement in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. All throughout high school I was a mentor, or a “Big,” to a little boy named David. Over the course of four years I was able to be that fatherly figure he had been missing in his life, teaching him how to respect others, teaching him the importance of hard work and perseverance, teaching him how to deal with failure, and every day I saw him becoming a better person and the impact I was having on his life, the more I had a sense of fulfillment in my own life. That sense of fulfillment is something that I never wanted to lose.

Unfortunately, David and I had to part ways because of me going to college and a few other reasons, but ever since then I strived to find something that allowed me to have a positive impact on people’s lives. After I graduated college I decided to become a Financial Adviser, and even though it was a good job and paid the bills, it wasn’t something I was passionate about. After I went through P90X and got into the best shape of my life, I developed a passion for health and fitness, and absolutely LOVED talking to people about it, helping them make a change in their own life. I felt that sense of fulfillment once again, and that was the reason I decided to become a Beachbody Coach. I didn’t care about the business, didn’t care about making money, I just wanted to help people, and that’s what I did every single day.

About a year later is when I realized that there was an unbelievable opportunity to make Beachbody Coaching a full-time career, and that’s when I started focusing more effort on it. Not too long after, about 6 months later, I decided to make it my full-time job, and that’s when I really hit the ground running. After 1 year of hard work and sacrifice, I was able to win Top Beachbody Coach 2010! Now, our team is EXPLODING and we have a track record of success, with one of my Personally Sponsored Coaches winning Top Coach 2011, and many others achieving Diamond and Elite status. There is no doubt that we have one of the top, if not THE TOP,  Beachbody team in the entire nation!

Body Beast Results

Ever since I completed my first round of P90X, I was waiting for Beachbody to release a mass gaining program, and in July of 2012 they did just that by releasing Body Beast! Shortly thereafter, I decided to commit myself to the new program, and the results I got were unreal! Let me share my story.

When I completed P90X, I felt like I was too skinny. I was in excellent shape, but I really wanted to put some mass back on, and that’s when I decided to do a modified P90X schedule, making adjustments to my diet, supplements, and adding in some heavy lifting on top of that. It worked, and I ended up gaining back 15 lbs in solid muscle, but it was very tough explaining exactly what I did to the people that I coach that were also looking to gain mass. For years I waited for Beachbody to come out with a mass gaining program, and finally my wishes came true when they released Body Beast. I had no idea I would get unreal Body Beast results!

What is Body Beast? Body Beast is an all around complete but TOUGH diet, supplement, and workout program. It involves eating a TON of healthy calories, taking the right supplements at the right time, and heavy lifting involving a combination of progressive sets, dynamic sets, and drop sets. There is very little cardio (you have some if you do Lean Beast), which is important if you’re trying to gain mass.

What are the Body Beast supplements? There are 4 main supplements to get the best Body Beast results: Fuel Shot, Creatine Monohydrate, Base Shake, and the Suma pills. I take the 2.5 grams creatine 25 minutes pre-workout along with 8 oz. of non-acidic fruit juice, such as apple or grape juice, and I take the Suma pills at the same time. Post workout I take another 2.5 grams of creatine blended with whey protein and my Shakeology. These supplements play a HUGE role in your Body Beast results!

How much weight do you need for Body Beast and what equipment is involved? I have used a range from 5 lbs all the way to 90 lbs. Most people don’t have that type of weight at their house, so it’s OK to go to the gym to do Body Beast. All you have to do is take the Body Beast workout sheets with you. Also, you will need a pull-up bar, EZ curl bar, an adjustable bench, and a dumbbell set.

My Body Beast results have been UNREAL! I have gained about 12 lbs, most of that muscle, and I just have a few weeks left. My strength has increased drastically as well, and I have been able to notice a HUGE difference in the mirror, especially in my arms, shoulders, and back. I have 16 1/2 in. arms, which is the biggest they have EVER been! If you’re looking to gain mass, Body Beast is the perfect program to do so.
